Pointer is an independent footwear company, based in London but bounding across the globe. Pointer aims for a lo-fi aesthetic, but a high comfort fit. Pointer shoes are named for people and places; informed by art and music and history and breakfast. Pointer likes playful contrasts, delightful details and original artwork. Pointer loves colour, from the reassuringly sombre to bright flashes of brilliance. Pointer flirts with current trends, yet is inspired by the classic – and the overlooked. Pointer makes sneakers and boat shoes, stitched-down traditionals and click-three-times heels. Pointer doesn’t care for collectibles, nor for crippling oneself in the pursuit of fashion; Pointer just wants to play.
