During the 1990's Barrie K. Sharpe formed part of a duo act focusing mainly on a music style known as Groundbeat - a musical fusion of Acid and Jazz, orignating in old soul vinyl record shops in the London area. They were first recognised in the late 1980's and released many singles in their time.
They created the world reknown mens designer brand Duffer of St George in 1984 and designer all of of it's ranges up until 1997. Then in the same year, Sharpe established both Sharpeye and Suiceyed which are now recognised as sucessful me's designer brand - especially in the London area.
Barrie K. Sharpe's "Duffer" was supplying an ever incresing demand, however, he decided to move away from this and return to the original street ethos he had created. In doing so he maintained Sharpeye and retained a loyal market base.
